I am a Mexican-American documentary photographer and journalist based in Berkeley, California. I am shaped by my experiences growing up just a block away from Disneyland as part of a family of immigrants and spending several summers in Ensenada, Baja California in Mexico.

My reporting interests include arts and culture, mental health, underrepresented communities and sports. I hope to document the intimacy of people's lives with the right sensitivity and empathy to tell important stories that are so often overlooked.
